Is this acceptable after an operation?

I would just like some views on this please-
Our dog had an operation a few days ago. She was sent home the same day with a 10inch stitched area across he belly and side and bandaged up.
She was given 2 follow up appointments which were free of charge as aftercare as they had been included in the £2780 cost of the operation.
The following day at the first of these appointments the bandages were removed and the wound and drain left open to the air. I did ask if it could remain covered as I was worried about infection or Luna catching the would on something but I was told they had to leave it uncovered.
12 hours later, despite the vet having fitted a collar on Luna she had managed to get at the drain and pulled half of it out. I didnt see this happen but it happened within minutes whilst I was making a coffee in the kitchen. Took her back to the vet who removed the drain and rebandaged the wound at a cost of £130 as this apparently did not come under the aftercare.
Another 12 hours later and the bandaging has slipped so far down her back that it is almost hanging off and the wound is still bleeding slightly. Ive put additional bandages over the ones the vet put on till tomorrow as she has her 2nd follow up then.
I feel the vet is taking advantage in a few ways and just wondered what is acceptable care and what is not.
When they cleaned the wound during the free of charge aftercare appointment I was still charged £16.50 for a bag of solution used to clean it with. Is that normal?
Is it acceptable to have to pay £130 for a bandage which has been of no use at all when I had asked them to leave the wound covered for another few days?
Just wondered what others experiences of post op care is and if Im just being picky with this.

What aftercare instructions were you given when you collected your dog?It sounds like she is moving around too much
if the wound is still bleeding. The fee for the operation will be based on the routine care normally given for the op.
Any treatment in addition to the routine care will be chargeable.
Any form that I have signed before surgery has advised this. The appointment after her pulling the drain would be an additional appointment, not part of the routine care , so there would be a consultation charge plus any other charges. You should have an invoice detailing the costs.
If you did not get one you can ask for one.0
