Car Insurance for a hybrid car

I have a nearly 4 year old BMW 330e hybrid car. Insurance seems higher for this type of car.. Are there any insurance companies that are worth trying for quotes?

I think it's just more expensive to insure a hybrid, the premium on my Yaris was about 30% higher than the premium on my previous Fiesta (both with Halifax Insurance who have given me reasonable quotes compared to the comparison sites for the last 3 years).0

I just bought a hybrid car a Honda Jazz and the insurance is about 3 times higher than what I was paying for my old car a Hyundai i10.

Admittedly it was two years ago but I changed from an ICE car to a hybrid and the premium hardly changed.0
