MCOL, mooreside legal, help needed...

Long story short.
My partner went to a medical centre and received a pcn, on 7/2/25.
There were signs saying the carpark was for the MC and anpr controlled...
She was not asked, by reception, to sign the car in and there were no signs in the MC to indicate she had to. The car she was driving was registered in my name.
First I knew about the ticket/fine was a letter from trace recovery demanding £170. To which I ignored after reading to on this forum. I was unable at this point to see any evidence of said offence as countrywide parking had "passed it on" to the debt collectors.
I received 2 further communications, 1 from the debt collectors, about possible escalation, and then 1 from mooreside legal, about possible court action. I received the money claim letter issued on 9/7/25.
I've acknowledged the claim with intent to defend on 13/7/25, which got received on 14/7/25..
I understand the bits I need to copy and paste for the defence, I'm just struggling with how to word specifics for my case part... words are not my strong point...
If anyone could assist me in the wording for my specific bit that would be greatly appreciated.

My partner was in and out of the MC within 25/30 minutes.0

Check your log book is up to date, because that is the usual reason for missing paperwork
Post the Issue date from the top right of the claim form below ( unless it was 9th july ) and also post a redacted picture of the POC from the lower left of the claim form below after hiding the VRM details first
You will probably be adapting paragraphs 2 and 3, after we see the POC1 -
Thank you for the reply..
The issue date was the 9th of july..

Am I right in thinking that, by sending the AOS, I extended the time for defence prep from 14 days to 28 days? Or has my busy work schedule done me over...0

Also the logbook was upto date, we had a very sporadic postman at the time, alot of post in our area seemed to not turn up within acceptable time, if at all...1

Your AOS was completed, so the deadline is 4pm on 11th August
Your current p2 ends keeper but not the driver
Your POC does not specify the actual breach, so use the Chan and Akande defence inclusions too2 -
"Current p2" What is this?
I was going to add the extra "moorside legal" parts to the copy and paste defence recommendation, i believe this is where the Chan and Akande part is...
Thank you for the confirmation on the deadline date, had me a bit worried, I really don't want to pay the escalated fine. I don't believe I should pay anything at all, as my partner used the carpark for the stated use, to go to the docs...
I think it's a bit off that there was no mention, either verbally or a poster, about having to sign the car in. I feel they are/were taking advantage of people who are feeling vulnerable and not thinking/expecting to have to sign their vehicle in to a village surgery carpark...0 -

Current p2 means the current default paragraph 2 in the template defence, before adding extra paragraphs
Add the following words at the end, after keeper , but not the driver
When the Chan and Akande stuff is added in, renumber ( remember that it's a template, templates are designed to be altered and adapted, not set in stone )
Its not a fine, magistrates issue fines, it was an invoice for the alleged breach of the parking contract on that private property

Someone worked on a Moorside defence earlier today (Friday). Have a look at the posts on any Moorside thread and you'll see.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
