Water is pooling in the corners of my bath. Anything that can be done?

Hi all

I recently had a new bath fitted (bathroom renovation). Everything is tiled in, completed but unfortunately I noticed after that water pools in these corners and won't drain unless I do it myself. Anything that can be done? It's an L-Shaped Bath and I've heard this can be an issue so unsure if it's the bath or the fitter.

I presume it's level, otherwise water would pool in one corner but not the other. Maybe a moulding issue.

Could it possibly be condensation running off the tiling rather than water pooling after you have been bathing?

It may be level front to back but it sounds like it is not level end to end.

It’s certainly odd. The OP will need to get a spirit level on it to check.

It would be unusual for a pro to not level a bath.  Not impossible but definitely unusual

Seems to me the bottom of the bath itself isn't quite convex so the plug hole is a bit higher up than the two corners where you indicate. I guess if you put a straightedge across you'd be able to tell if this is the case.

If that's correct I think it suggests the bath's moulding is slightly incorrect, not that the bath was installed incorrectly, so you'll have to live with it I guess as there's no way you could raise those corners in relation to the plughole. It's annoying but think I could learn to live with it.

Having said all that I wonder if it's the case that the pipework under the plughole is somehow pushing the bottom of the bath upwards a tiny bit and making it higher in the centre? Maybe take a look behind the panel and see?
