Hi all
I hope this is the correct place for this post
I'm at my wits end looking to buy a new free standing washing machine which has a quick (1 hour or less) cycle which will wash at 60 degrees C.
Can anyone help please?
Many thanks

Thank you! I have no idea how you worked that out but I'm very grateful indeed. The Bosch is too expensive but the Indesit looks great!Living in beautiful Wales and loving it.0

Just out of interest, why do you need a 60 degree wash? Modern washing pods/liquid/powder are designed to work well at 20-40 degrees. It's cheaper to run and better for the environment0 -
Maybe bedding needs changing often or creams applies that are flammable so need extra heat to try and remove them off clothing/bedding?1

When the cost of electricity was sky high, I experimented using cold wash pods at 20/30 degrees. Laundry was fine (nothing really heavy duty) but after a couple of weeks the washer control panel started flashing a red cross. Turned out to be a 'hygiene warning', and the solution was to run a couple of hot washes to keep the machine clean and prevent any nasty niffs.
40 degrees for clothes, 60 degrees for sheets and towels, and the odd de-scale at 90 degrees.0
