They ask me do you pay for my prescription and replied nope because on disability PIP but they did not correct me and said Nope you have to pay. I know its my mistake should of checked and am willing to pay the fine since it be put into NHS but need some advice because am scared there more letters be coming in post! I'd check to see if you could qualify due to low income for Low Income Scheme regarding NHS costs (including prescriptions)... especially if you don't work or work little. Unfortunately you cannot backdate to cover any of these charges. I wonder what they have been ticking at the pharmacy on your prescriptions as usually they have to tick the relevant reason you qualify for free and PIP is not an option.

I think you can get a medical exemption certificate for epilepsy meaning you don’t pay for prescriptions. I’m not sure if that’s dependent on you actually taking epilepsy meds though… might be worth a chat with the Prescription Exemption helpline?
