Hi,
I posted a few days about a claim form received for 21 PCN in 2023 from DCB Legal
UKPC DCB Legal court claim 2025 — MoneySavingExpert Forum
Just yesterday i received yet another claim form, this time for 30 PCN's for the same car park (Sainsburys Clapham Common).
If there is indeed 51 all together which i doubt it, why would they separate it into 2 claim forms, instead of doing one?
This ones is for a total of £5688.03
What should i do please

Personally, due to the sheer amount of pcns and money involved, I believe that you should contact Contestor Legal as soon as possible
In theory, if its the same location and claimant etc, it should have been one single claim for each and every outstanding pcn
No longer having the vehicle is irrelevant if you still had it on each and every incident date2 -
Thank you i have done that just now, apparently they put it in 2 claims otherwise it would pass the £10,000 mark which means they would have to pay more fees .
Are Contestor Legal genuine? I am asking because they seem very on top of it, but asking for quite a large fee. And asking to then keep any costs the judge orders them to pay
What are your thoughts? I know majority of solicitors will do this, but just looking for a second opinion
Thank you

Yes they are genuine, look at their website, look up the work of Jackson Yamba, even on YouTube or the court system, otherwise I wouldn't have suggested it
I have no opinion on the possible costs, not my forte or problem, I suggested getting legal representation due to the sums involved, but I suppose that it could be costly, especially if they lose the cases
A defendant would have a fool for a client if they were defending as an unrepresented Litigant in Person , especially if they were an amateur1 -
I totally agree about giving both cases to CL to handle. They are genuine. Jackson Yamba achieved this landmark win at the second highest court in the country for a Defendant facing a £9500 claim:

These claims are too high a risk for a rookie litigant in person to handle.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
