Thank you so far for all your replies. Here are the options they have sent him:

So far you've made one of the 12 instalments due.

    Leaving you with £7,150 outstanding.

We have three options from here:

    1) We get this back on track, and get you fired up to get to build something on your terms as intended - bringing in consistent income, and multiplying what you put into the OTE in the long run.

    2) You don't wish to carry on and are willing to step away early, in which case you can clear off a one-off 75% exit fee, and walk away on good terms.

    3) The payment continues to default, and as of Friday afternoon we'll have no other option but to pass the full amount due to our UK team, who deals with collections on our behalf. Plus any additional charges they're likely to add on etc.

I feel like this company is a three man band kind of operation, operating out of Dubai. Big threats saying they will pass the full amount to our UK team... I'm inclined to tell him to tell them to 'do one'.

I've ran the terms he sent me over through Chap GPT and it says
cancelling the agreement without paying a penalty will be very difficult.

    Any further advice guys?

Ignore anything received by  phone, text or E Mail.

If they do intend to apply for a CCJ they have to follow the legal procedures which start with a letter before action sent by snail mail.

Get him to block any phone numbers they use and if he does receive a letter before action  come back for further advice.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

    They are in Dubai?

    What`s the company name please?

I`d be inclined to call their bluff on this as it stinks to high heaven, pass to their UK team indeed.

Smells of desperation, I don`t think anything will come of this, I think they are relying on your conscience to get money from you, call their bluff and see what happens, can`t get any worse by doing so.
