Lease car needs out of warranty repair

Hi,
I have a Peugeot e-2008 which I've leased since March 2021.  We extended the lease to five years when the initial three were up (big mistake!).  Anyway the air conditioning has packed up and it looks like the compressor needs replacing (we've tried a regas and had a diagnostic run).

Given that this is still on lease with Black Horse and that the car is only just over 4 years old, what are the chances of getting either the lease company or Peugeot to fund a fix either fully or partially?

I'm not sure who the retailer is in this instance as we went through a broker (should I go back to them?).  The car should't develop a fault this serious in 4 years of fairly light use so I don't think it's of satisfactory quality.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thx.

Has the vehicle been serviced at the specified time/mileage? Has it been serviced by an approved repairer?

If yes then approach the manufacturer for a possible goodwill gesture. The alternative is to look for a company that repairs aircon and check their repair price for the dealer.
