It seems like you didn't defend the claim form, yet were told to look in the newbies sticky thread last month , 16th

You snooze, you lose,  sorry to say , luck has nothing to do with the litigation process, the claim form did warn you,  Now we know what Sarah's new job is

Why didn't you defend the Money Claim last month. ?

How did you manage to get a CCJ after you were advised how to defend and signposted to the easy advice and template defence?

You were obviously going to get a CCJ if you didn't defend. This wasn't about luck. You'd have paid nothing if you'd followed the advice in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread. I'm sorry but by (apparently) doing nothing, you've lost.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Laziness on my end - I paid it off, and it's still showing as active, so I'm going to send a form to the Court to get it cancelled/satisfied.

However, I have a new fine. A "final notice of intended legal action" was sent to me on 06/05/2026. The potential issue is that I moved out of the linked address (into the same apartment block), so I was able to collect the letter. They obviously don't know that, so do I have that to lean on? ("I didn't receive it") If not, then I shall reply.

Reading the sticky, I can reply, but the issue is that I am failing to locate a DCBLegal solicitor's email address.
