Charging order 15yrs+
Comments
-
I’ve found the original paperwork I had through. I’ve got a solicitors letter stating a Final Charging Order was made in 2012. I also have a letter from Land Registery a few months before stating a Register of Restriction.
It’s definitely a sole debt on a joint property still current mortgaged for £2000.
Should I contact the current solicitor who is chasing?0 -
What are they actually saying? Are they suggesting a settlement deal?0
-
It’s says I’ve failed to engage with them (last contact was 15yrs+ although this is the first letter ever from this solicitor) and they are considering further enforcement action if I don’t set up a payment plan by ringing them or using their website0
-
Once they have a charging order there is no requirement to engage with them
'Considrring enforcement' is so vague as to be meaningless0 -
Thank you so much for your help, very much appreciated!0
