Does it have to be a Vanguard ETF?

I use IGL5 which is a short-term gilt index ETF so no hedging required.

But that's UK gilt, not global aggregate.

I said it was a gilt fund in my post. 

There isn't a lot of choice for short term bond ETFs so I thought it might be useful info for the OP.
