Cheap SIMs

Has it ever occurred to MSE that a lot of people don't want a cheap SIM that radically escalates in price after a few months!? It means that if you don't want to stay on the higher rate you have the hassle of aborting and shopping around again to change - more hassle and time lost than it's worth!
Personally I want a cheap SIM that stays cheap ... for as long as possible.

Personally I want a cheap SIM that stays cheap ... for as long as possible.I've never found it to be a hassle or time consuming.Have a look at the simsherpa site, might be able to find something suitable there.Things that are differerent: draw & drawer, brought & bought, loose & lose, dose & does, payed & paid0 -
I guess there might be an argument for having a listing for deals that last for 12 months, but even then there are usually increases around April each year.
It's in the nature of deals, hacks, whatever, that seek to be Money Saving, they will inevitably involve a little more effort than simply going for the first deal found or the easy renewal. Same goes for utilities, insurance premiums etc.0 -
MSE's Best Sim Only page does account for this - it has an option to sort by Equivalent Monthly Cost which is calculated over a 12 month period. So even if the price increases after an initial period, you can keep it on whatever rate for 12 months and still get the average price expected.
You can choose to switch early to make it yet cheaper, but that's your choice. IMO 12 months is a reasonable frequency, not the same as changing after "a few months".2
