For starters, there’s yellowtail tartare with avocado and a spicy cherry tomato sauce. Then seared red prawns from Mazara del Vallo (aka the seafood capital of southern Italy) served with creamy stracciatella and a dusting of bottarga (delicious cured fish roe). Next comes rich, tomatoey paccheri pasta with whipped ricotta, followed by a sea bass fillet on a silky pea purée. And of course, dessert is Bocconcino’s signature tiramisu, washed down with a pour of Vin Santo to end on a high note. Each course is expertly paired with a wine from Antinori’s 26 generations of winemaking brilliance.
