I received Tesco "Deal of the day" email at 11.47. Tried to order 1 right away and got the "out of stock" message at checkout.

Me too, perhaps they should check their stock levels before sending emails out!!!

Remember, it's only a bargain if you actually need it!

I stopped myself once I got to the checkout.....did I really need all that stuff? Ok it's vastly reduced, but I dont want chocolate, jams, chutneys etc as I'm trying to lose a bit of weight for my wedding, and we still have 5 bottles of wine left that we didn't drink over christmas!

So instead of buying stuff I didn't need i've put the £15 into my sealed pot for my honeymoon instead.

Wow I feel light headed now, time for a cuppa! lol

    Now that's true money saving...well done:T
  • looks like i'll save my money too, kept trying but definately out of stock now.
If you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.

Sorry to all who paid £18.75 for the Hamper yesterday. I have just cancelled my order as I got a couple at the cheaper price this morning. There will at least be 1 now in stock for someone to get at the cheaper price.

lmao I hadn't read your reply but just tried the exact same thing. I didn't cancel my order though as I really want the hampers. She said she could refund me but I wouldn't be able to reorder. I said well thats ok because if I cancel I know theres 2 instock lol she said wonderful idea but unfortunately it wouldnt show that quick on the system.
Oh well well done to those who got the hamper at the £9 price. I'm happy because all I really wanted was the baskets so the contents will just be added bonuses.
    Hugs

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

:rotfl:I had the exact same conversation this morning too!! So I think i'll chance my arm when I collect them instore and see if they'll price match the difference, otherwise i'll just ask for a complete refund because it's not really money saving if I could have gotten them cheaper. (At least i'll tell myself that :rotfl:)
