Hi,
I run a not for profit internet small radio station. We are only allowed to have a turn over of less than £5k a year in order to comply with our license. We have two sponsors who send us sponsorship money which just about covers our outgoings i.e. web site costs streaming costs jingles etc. I have three other presenters all unpaid volunteers who have no need to access the financial side of things. We are not a limited company possibly the simplest way to explain my radio station is it is a hobby the two sponsors send me a contribution to help with costs . In return we play out advertisements for them.
My problem is finding an account which doesn't insist I set up as a limited company. Our turnover is less than 2 k a year and once again we are a not for profit station no one gets paid and all monies are fed back into the station to pay for streaming etc etc.
can anyone please suggest where I might be able to setup such an account where our sponsors can deposit their sponsorship and we can use the account to pay for services the station uses to operate.
Any help gratefully received.
Thank You.
