Kitchen issues

Morning, looking for advice for a problem that hopefully wont arise, but just being prepared as i have a feeling theres going to be issues.
I ordered, paid for, and had built a new kitchen, to include installation by their approved installers, kitchen delivered last week, and a start date for installing it of today, friday i get an email saying due to unforseen circumstances my installation due today (monday) has been cancelled, no alternative date given, just told they would be in contact once they have arranged new fitters.
I emailed back friday, and again today to try and find out whats going on, but as of now no response.
I know its early days, but have a gut feeling that im going to have problems getting it fitted, so just asking for advice on what steps to take to try and stay ahead of the game, so to speak.
TIA

The kitchen has been built, seems satisfactory, and has been delivered. Now awaiting installation by 'their approved installers'.
Did you pay for kitchen to be built, delivered and installed by the kitchen company as one contract or did they introduce you to their 'approved installers' with whom you have a separate contract?0 -

Update, one call yesterday to say they are still looking for another installation team0 -
At least you still have your old kitchen at the moment! Would be worse if old one ripped out and then no installers.....0

Latest update
Received an email 23rd July stating an installation team had been sourced, and work to start 4th Aug and that the installer would contact me within 48 hours, no contact so far, then last tuesday an email asking how the installation is going!!!! I replied stating it wasnt due to start till 4th aug but still hadnt heard from the installer, was assured that would contact me shortly, but as of 0840 4th aug ive had no contact, so now waiting and wondering if anyone will actually bother turning up today.
At what point is it reasonable for me to start asking for a full refund, or going via small claims court?
I know ive got to send a letter before action, but im having to cancel appointments, change plans, plus living in a small property with an unfitted kitchen in boxes taking up most of my floor space, and having had to clear the kitchen of everything!!!0 -
Update.
Despite being told they will start on the 4th, and be finished by the 8th, nobody has been, no notification by phone or email to say they arent coming, and no reply to the emails i sent yesterday.
Think its time to formally request a full refund.0
