Kitchen issues

Options
Morning, looking for advice for a problem that hopefully wont arise, but just being prepared as i have a feeling theres going to be issues.

I ordered, paid for, and had built a new kitchen, to include installation by their approved installers, kitchen delivered last week, and a start date for installing it of today, friday i get an email saying due to unforseen circumstances my installation due today (monday) has been cancelled, no alternative date given, just told they would be in contact once they have arranged new fitters.

I emailed back friday, and again today to try and find out whats going on, but as of now no response.

I know its early days, but have a gut feeling that im going to have problems getting it fitted, so just asking for advice on what steps to take to try and stay ahead of the game, so to speak.

TIA

The kitchen has been built, seems satisfactory, and has been delivered. Now awaiting installation by 'their approved installers'.

Did you pay for kitchen to be built, delivered and installed by the kitchen company as one contract or did they introduce you to their 'approved installers' with whom you have a separate contract?

One contract, the only separate work with the original installer was supplementary work, ie gas, electric etc

Update, one call yesterday to say they are still looking for another installation team
  • At least you still have your old kitchen at the moment! Would be worse if old one ripped out and then no installers.....
