Apart from making a formal complaint which I have done. Waiting months on the company's reply, then waiting montbs on a response from the FCA.

How can I expidite a death claim which has been going on since the middle of March 2025.

This company claim they have tried to pay it out 3 times to no avail. Despite asking for a letter from the building society to confirm the account details. They agreed to us changing bank accounts, and have now sent it to their legal team; because the bank has been changed.

I'm at my wits end and only want our money paid out. This company is devoid of ethics and empathy.

Any suggestions would be helpful as I can't afford to go down the legal route.

What do you/they mean to "they've tried to pay it to no avail"?

What class of insurance is it you are trying to claim on?

You would escalate the complaint to the Financial Ombudsman (FOS) not the FCA; the regulator only deals with claims that a company is operating without a licence to do so from consumers.
