    Thanks @Coupon-mad .
The PEye  on the PoC uses consumer act, shall I use the same standart template, and mention the Beavies cases, Chan, Akande, Hannah Robinson ?
Or is there a different template ?

    Thank you
Your POC is perfectly clear. None of those cases need adding to the template defence.

Just your facts as paragraph 3.

    Hello,
They've rushed it through to court claim very quickly, in 3 months time, didn't have chance to deal with it with retail shops.
At the current stage, is it possible to pay the charge £100 perhaps ? Isn't it fair that in such situations they should charge an hourly rate like £5-10 and hour rather then exaggerated fee ?
Can you experts please give us some more guidance?
    Thanks

    At Mediation stage, yes.

    NOT YET.

What is the retail park? Worth just checking the signage - you never know!

Went today to the parking lot. And this is how clearly the signage is.
This is the only sing. Then you park up, there is another sign that you have to look for it. And that's it.

    Hmmm it's a very message-cluttered entrance.

I hope you were on foot and didn't stop your car on that double red?!

    As I said:
If the driver overstayed at a clearly signed(?) Parking Eye managed retail park, they - ParkingEye - will win at the hearing.
What does the car park look like?

If there really is only one sign you could get pics of the lack of signs (not for defence stage. Evidence comes later) and continue to a hearing.

It's a big retail car park, and in big sections, this section has this two (tired) signs,  the left has one backwards facing the car park, and there is one on the side, but you need to look for it. Where I've park, and as you can see the entrance has an angle, so it is not really clearly signed, if you miss the entrance, which you do in this case, then no signs in front and sides.

I've got a video, exactly from the car being driven into car park (hands free for your sake) . And really it is poorly signed

OK, then you do have a defence. The signage will be key - IT IS YOUR MAIN POINT - but evidence stage comes later.

I did stress that PEye would only win if they convince the judge that the place is prominently signed.

If you want to make a difference to stop this utter scammery in future:

Stick around in August to take part in the Government's Public Consultation. We have an important thread about that and we need ALL Defendants to respond to the questions to shape the regulation of this rogue industry.

Please come back in a couple of weeks. Bookmark the thread on the Public Consultation. Go read it now, please.
