Travel Center - Legit or Scam?

Hi All,

I've recently been left an amount of money by my Grandfather who sadly passed away and we decided that we wanted to use it to go on a joint Tanzania safari and Zanzibar trip. After researching various trips I came across a deal offered by Travel Center which appears to be very good value. I've tried looking for reviews but not much is coming up. They have lots of positive reviews on Trust Pilot but the reviews seem quite samey and focus on how helpful the agents were rather than the trips themselves. This is a lot of money for us and I want to make sure everything is legit. Thanks

Thanks I've seen that but then there seems to be information online that points out that when they book some items the contract is with the provider and not themselves and then therefore not ATOL protected.

It might be worth asking on the Tanzania forum on TripAdvisor where there is a very goodand experienced DE.
She could maybe give some ideas of which companies suit you.
Ignore the businesses and guides that can try to sell stuff.

Travel centre I seem to remember just book things for you and are not running the holidays 
I did Zambia, Botswana and South Africa with River Travel. It was a decent trip.

The ATOL and ABTA numbers check out so that at least suggests it's not a scam.  (You're only ATOL protected if you book a package including a flight).

If they are arranging elements of a tour with other providers then you could ask them who they are using, might help to research reviews if the trip itself.
