What Do I Do Next

Options
Having ignored over a dozen letters as advised I have recieved this claim form stamped The County Court.
Do I ignore this also?
On the date this happened it was snowing heavy and visibility and driving conditions were poor and I just wanted to get off the motorway.I pulled into the services was not aware of any signage as everything was covered in snow.
I pulled over and then noticed i had taken the turn into the lorry park.I realy panicked and didn't know what to do.It was one way only and it would mean exiting the services and back on the motorway.
A security guard came over and said you can't park here,I explained what had happened and he said it would be ok this time because of the weather.
No mention of cameras or parking charges.
I think it was 10-15 minutes at most before the snow eased and I could drive again.
A week later I got the parking charge from Group Nexus and I was fuming as I had no idea I would be charged especially the security telling me I would be ok because of the weather conditions.
I was going to appeal but was advised to ignore all letters.
Now im a man of principal and if guilty would have paid it but it was a genuine mistake in such poor conditions and unaware of any signs so im standing my ground.
No idea what to do next having recieved this letter that after research believe this isn't an actual Court Summons its a letter from the debt collection agency making it look like it is.
I would love for someone on here to clarify exactly what I should do next as I hate anything like this.
As if life isn't hard enough trying to make ends meet and live normal.
These companies are making people's lives an absolute misery.
Thanks in advance everyone

Don't worry. Just defend, offer zero pounds on the 1 minute mediation phone call and they'll just discontinue in the autumn.

Being given authorisation to park by a representative of the landowner trumps their contract.

Read the stickied guide about the court process and find the template defence.

Condense your situation into a brief paragraph to be inserted into the template defence and post it here for the thumbs up.
