Dryden's bank account details and a Standing order form are on their website. You need your account code as well. You decide what you pay.

No need to discuss pay rises next year.

    Thanks ManyWays.

I am happy to make an AP but will Drydens likely accept an offer to pay?
Yes of course they will accept an offer of payment, back it up with a budget that shows them what you can afford, exaggerate your expenditure if you have to and they won`t say no.

Dryden`s job is twofold, first to get you onto an affordable payment plan, without the need to progress to court, but if that is not possible, to then issue a claim against you.

Now that is something they do not want to do despite all they and the creditor might say, a court will look at your budget and decide payment based on your disposable income, it might be a good deal less than what you have already offered them, so for them, going to court really is a last ditch attempt to get any money from you.

So do not be fooled by their rhetoric.

  • All four of my NatWest accounts (2 x credit cards and 2 x loans) are with the Ombudsman. The investigator only found the £13k loan to be unaffordable so I’ve escalated to have them all looked at as I was using the credit cards for day to day living and consolidating with the loans. Probably the first loan was okay, and possibly one of the cards but I thought it was worth another letter.

Anyway, my accounts quickly defaulted and were passed to Moorcroft. I had a few polite letters from them initially but have heard nothing in a good while. I assumed NW had told them the accounts were with the FO.
