Reading on their website it states
Faster Payments - They will normally reach the destination account by the end of the next day.

but on general T&Cs pamphlet it states

Faster Payments By the end of the next working day

Wise people of MSE which is it?

I believe it’s end of next working day.

And although it’s a FP that takes a day to arrive they claim to credit interest up to the day it is sent even though they show it as a deduction on the day you make the withdrawal!

If you make a withdrawal  over the weekend is the debit show on the actual day eg 19th July then paid into the other account on the  22nd?

I think it would be paid on the 21st as the withdrawal request day on which the money is deducted ready for the slow faster payment is treated like a normal working day. I may be wrong though as I tend to avoid ybs over the weekends because they confuse me.

As for dates think day you make the request is the day shown as date of withdrawal whether it be weekend or weekday.

Also there’s a cutoff time of 8pm on a working day for a payment to go ahead the next working day. You may be right that a weekend withdrawal does take two/three  days to arrive.

What I do. Only make withdrawals on a mon tue weds or Thursday and always before 8pm.

I'm looking at Easy Access Saver Issue 3. What I want is to be able to keep paying monthly into it. What I'm unsure of what happens when it's superseded by  Issue 4? Can I continue to pay into it although not open to new customers? ( I want to keep the same sort/ account number) If I can what's the point of having different issue numbers?

I've found them accurate, efficient and on time. Call and text to tell me it was done the next day.
Unlike the fancy pants one, Santander ,that's slow and makes mistakes. Just had a letter dated 8th arrive today 2 weeks after the event and reams of texts that make no sense.

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I normally avoid weekends, but on one occasion made a withdrawal on Friday and the money arrived Saturday morning.

Yes, you can continue to use issue 3.

Different issues may have different interest rates and/or change rates at different times

I'm sure you will be able to continue paying in and probably open Issue 4 when/if it is launched.  If it's not opened to new customers your account will still operate as normal for you.
