Deposited £500 into my new Monmouthshire regular yesterday by FP and its showing in my app this morning (Saturday).Kim_13 said:Monmouthshire are the slowest to show deposits online, I believe it takes two days at the best of times and shows up somewhere between 7 and 8am on the day in question. From a Friday deposit I wouldn’t worry as long as it arrived on Tuesday.
Same for me, and the credit date is yesterday.
I had checked around 8am this morning, and it wasn't there at the time, but is now.
EDIT: the credit is only showing in the app, not online, for me. Online is still £0.00. They were reasonably swift with adding the account to online, though. I had only requested it yesterday. In the past, it took a couple of working days at least.1 -
Are deposits allowed only from the nominated account?0

No, you can make a deposit from any account. Nominated account is for withdrawals.crumpet_man said:Are deposits allowed only from the nominated account?1 -
Know this is an old thread, but l sent funds to my Monbs at 8.05am today, so there's no real chance now, then until tomorrow for it to show?

Should show tomorrow with today's date. At least on the app. May be showing a day later through browser access.

Monmouthshire wouldn't let me progress to opening their Regular Saver as I wanted to use a bank account opened a month ago for my nominated account, and their system wouldn't verify it. Tried phoning them, and sending them proof the account existed (as requested), but still no luck.
I opened the Chorley Regional RS instead, used the same bank account as the nominated account details, and had no issue opening.
While Chorley has a lower interest rate and only allows £400 per month, it does have the advantage of being a 24 month account. (Although, only available if you live in North West England).

With regards to the 7% app saver, is it possible to make multiple payments?
Might not be able to fund the £1000 immediately assuming the 2 x Principalities @7.5% get priority.
Thanks in advance.

Yes it is.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
Thankyou 😃
