We’ve teamed up with Visit East of England and Greater Anglia to give away a fantastic 3-day UNLONDON experience in Beccles in the Broads National Park.

Enter for a chance to win a two-night stay in a quirky Houseboat at Hippersons boatyard, use of a day boat to travel to a secluded riverside pub or a Sir David Attenborough-supported nature reserve by the coast, £250 spending money and round-trip travel on Greater Anglia trains.

Friday

Start your 3 day UNLONDON break, with a Greater Anglia train to Beccles

After your rail journey, relax in a new wine bar, enjoy a hamper of local food as you sit on the deck of your floating accommodation with al fresco dining as the sun sets.

Saturday

Day boat to Carlton Marshes nature reserve or to The Locks pub for lunch – a gentle trip along the River Waveney enjoying the tranquillity and wildlife.

Back at Beccles enjoy an award-winning pizza at Oakfired, Royal Oak public house.

Sunday

Use the private row boat included with the accommodation

Lunch at Spindlers cafe, en route to the train station, then a train ride home with Greater Anglia.

One winner will receive a weekend break for two people in Beccles, worth up to £1,000, including:

• First Class return with Greater Anglia from London for 2 people
• Two-night stay in a floating glamping pod at Hippersons Boatyard
• Local food hamper on arrival
• £250 spending money, provided by Visit East of England (issued as a prepaid card or voucher)
• Full-day boat hire from Hippersons for a river trip to Carlton Marshes or The Locks Inn
• Dinner for two at Oakfired at The Royal Oak, Beccles
• Lunch for two at Spindlers Café, Beccles

Terms & Conditions

• The prize draw closes at 23:59 29 August 2025.
• No purchase is necessary
• The winner will be drawn at random and notified by email the next working day using the details provided.
• The winner must respond to Greater Anglia and accept their prize by 5pm on Friday 5th September 2025. If the winner does not confirm acceptance, Greater Anglia reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
• Greater Anglia reserves the right to refuse to accept any entry and/or to select a winning entry at Greater Anglia absolute discretion. Entries are subject to verification. Bulk/ automated, and third-party entries (including “voting exchanging” will be disqualified.
• The prize is valid for two adults, travelling together on a Friday to Sunday weekend.
• Travel must be booked at least 14 days in advance. The winner must take the prize before 31st December 2025.
• All elements of prize are subject to availability.
• Travel pass is valid for Greater Anglia services only. First Class is only available on certain Norwich to London intercity services.
• No cash alternative will be offered, and the prize cannot be exchanged, refunded, or used in conjunction with any other offer.
• Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 or over.
• Only one entry per person will be accepted.
• Employees of Visit East of England, Visit Norfolk, Visit Suffolk, Greater Anglia, and associated partners, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
• Acceptance of the prize grants permission for the organisers to publish the winner’s name.
