Just bought an iPhone 16 plus and whilst playing with it got stuck on this screen with voice over. No idea how to switch it off as cannot get to the home page. The voice over is so annoying and cannot get to any settings. Asking for passcode which I input then asked for tuv and I cannot access anything. Pl can anybody help before am losing it.

To turn off an iPhone 16, simultaneously press and hold the side button and either volume button until the "slide to power off" is displayed.

The correct sequence is press and release volume up, press and release volume down, press and hold the side button until the Apple logo appears.0 -
It would be pretty dumb not to select the correct option, they are half a screen apart, Either sequences is correct.

In the end went to the town repair shop and paid £10 to have it reset as it was doing my head in.0
