In-house Parking Eye claim, defended, hearing this month
Comments
-
So to update you all I have a court date at for later this month.
This morning I receive a without prejudice email stating that they will settle for £60 to avoid court proceedings.
what’s the boards thoughts on this - I’ve had this offer before and the claim was discontinued (as posted in an earlier thread of mine) but it was a bit more clear cut on my side than this one was.0 -
Presumably the letter was from the Parking Eye litigation team. ? ( not from say DCB LEGAL, because its an in-house claim. ? )
When is the hearing fee deadline. ?
When is the WS deadline ?
Please edit your thread title to something more suitable like
In-house Parking Eye claim, defended, hearing this month

Email was from parking eye.
The date of hearing is the 25th so I’m assuming the hearing fee deadline is seven days before that.
I have until the 16th to reply to the offer.0 -
A hearing fee is never 7 days before
No need to assume, it should be on page 1 of your court order
The Witness Statement deadline should be on page 2, but at least 14 days before the hearing date, so passed that deadline now

This is normally the prelude to a discontinuance.

Have they sent you their WS? You know what that is from the NEWBIES thread post 2.
Done yours yet? If not, it's late … as per the deadline on page 2 of your hearing order.
