Hello,

I've just been offered an airbag with a Citroen badge on my wheel rather than my DS badge (I have a DS 2016 with no Citroën badge anywhere on my car), this being due to a far lesser wait time.  Has anyone had this?  Do we have a right to take the incorrect badge/airbag for convenience and request the correct one when they are in stock??  I asked customer service if this might effect the value of my car, they said no, but I'm not entirely convinced, but I guess it depends on who may buy it after me.

Like many of us, it's a massive inconvenience for any wait.

Lots of people have, the DS was sold as Citroen for many years before DS was created as a sub-brand. Most of the models in question on the road are the original Citroen DS brand, rather than DS.

    No.

It will have minimal if any impact on value, especially considering of the age of the vehicle, likely being over ten years old when you sell it and everyone knowing that DS is just a rebadged Citroen DS.

You need to decide what is more important to you, being back on the road quickly or a DS badge.
