Impersonation Fraud

Options
I have been targeted in recent months with a fraudster trying to impersonate me. They have applied on-line to ten different financial institutions to apply for either current accounts, personal loans or credit cards.

To my knowledge none have been successful, but it has resulted in an alert being sent to my legitimate lenders who have significantly reduced my credit card limit and my 999 Experian credit rating has fallen significantly.

What should I do?

    nothing.

as long as you have not been a victim of fraud you are ok - your credit score is meaningless.

credit card limits are reduced as a matter of course anyway - may not be anything to do with this.

Nothing to do. The system appears to be working as it should.
