Virgin Media o2 Login - error code IDF-12B

I can login to My Virgin Media account on the web but the App fails with the above error message.

FYI I've seen a post on the Virgin forums suggesting that this is a known problem and VM are working to resolve it.

    Have you managed to get this issue resolved and if so how?!  As I am having exactly the same issues and have been unable to access my account for six months now!

    I have contacted the help department who said they sent a support ticket, which would take up to 7 days, but am now well past this.

    Any ideas?!
  • The app is terrible. Mines not worked for ages. Also I can’t log into virgin tv go on any other device other than my iPhone. And I have to pay each month manually as the direct debit will not work. 
    I’m building up the courage to phone them up. 

    I think the staffing cutbacks in key areas are really starting to show at VM.
