Virgin Media o2 Login - error code IDF-12B

I can login to My Virgin Media account on the web but the App fails with the above error message.
FYI I've seen a post on the Virgin forums suggesting that this is a known problem and VM are working to resolve it.

Hi Billxx,Have you managed to get this issue resolved and if so how?! As I am having exactly the same issues and have been unable to access my account for six months now!I have contacted the help department who said they sent a support ticket, which would take up to 7 days, but am now well past this.Any ideas?!0

The app is terrible. Mines not worked for ages. Also I can’t log into virgin tv go on any other device other than my iPhone. And I have to pay each month manually as the direct debit will not work.I’m building up the courage to phone them up.I think the staffing cutbacks in key areas are really starting to show at VM.0
