Parent Helping With Credit Card Debt Affect Universal Credit?

Hi,
My daughter is on Universal Credit. I sent her money to pay of her credit card by Faster Payments and as soon as it hit her account, it went straight out again to clear her credit card. The money I sent her was the exact amount of her debt. So straight in and straight out again on the same day.
She is panicking as tomorrow the UC are phoning her and wondering if this has affected her claim in any way?
Very greatful if anyone can advise, please. Thanks

Nope, it's not a problem.
They might ask her about it, if she's having a review, but she should just answer honestly. What you gift her doesn't affect her UC payment, and paying off debt is not a problem either.1 -
