PCN fine but no evidence for length of stay

Options
I have got a PCN fine from a B&M car park, they don’t have CCTV so someone has taken an actual photo of my car but not taken the before photo as I’m not taken the photo my car arrived and left just 1 photo showing my car parked stating I have overstayed the restricted time. I also didn’t get a ticket on my windscreen just a letter later in the post, which I have ignored until I have actually had time to look at it which is now and the fine has increased to £100 that was a month ago. Should I still try complain to B&M to remove my fine, if that doesn’t work surely they can’t prove that I have left them come back as the photos weren’t CCTV photos.
Please help, I’m not in any financial situation to be paying this (it also won’t let me on the portal as if I was going to pay, don’t know if that’s because I left it to long). My partner is also in the same position but has 2 fines on different occasions and same photo situation.

As above it isn't a "fine" and they rarely use CCTV if anything it would be ANPR at the entrance.
However this situation looks to be a foot patrol, if the attendant has just taken a single photo that is not evidence, it only shows a vehicle on site a one point in time.
You are dealing with a scummy parking company not an authority their only interest is money.

    Thank you for your help.
I looked through the retailer complaints bit but couldn’t find the template. I asked ChatGPT to help me, what do you think of the below?

    Dear B&M Customer Service,

I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment after receiving a parking fine simply for spending too much time shopping in your store.

As a regular and loyal customer of B&M, I find it outrageous that I am being penalised for doing exactly what any retailer would want, spending time and money in your store. At no point was I made aware, either clearly in-store or in the car park, that there was a strict time limit on parking.

To now receive a fine for supporting your business is frankly insulting. This kind of treatment makes customers feel unwelcome and exploited. If you genuinely value your customers, this situation should never happen, especially without proper, prominent signage warning of time restrictions.

I expect this fine to be cancelled immediately, and I also urge you to review the communication and management of your car park system. Punishing paying customers for taking their time is an utterly backwards approach.

Please confirm that this fine will be revoked and ensure that no further action is taken. I would appreciate a swift response.

    What? There is no fine.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ChatGPT shouldn't be used for this it's rubbish, and templates are not useful when describing to a landowner your individual circumstances.
You have quite clearly explained in your opening post what happened why use a useless AI word helper?
There is no fine, and in your opening post you gave the impression that the Muppet from the parking company had just issued a charge that can be disputed because the idiot just took one photo of a parked car.
You are in that AI generated description admitting you over stayed, which won't help.

It is best to go into a store and complain to the manager - take a copy of the PCN with you - and don't leave until they agree to have it rescinded.  Be careful where you park and for how long!  When you get their agreement, send them an email following up with what was agreed.

B&M will be a tenant,  no authority to cancel the pcn,  but try anyway

Your pcn complaint should really go to the retail park management company or landlord or landowner , the ones that contracted with UKCPS, because UKCPS will reject any appeal,  they wont cancel the pcn,  they just want your money , so you want the organ grinder,  not the dancing monkey
