Not really, but it's been refined.

Most use Pilkington's floating method, molten glass is floated on molten tin and rollers shape it to the desired thickness/size. Occasionally adjustments are needed and that was often done by people watching CCTV cameras and correcting when they spot a problem. These days analogue CCTV can be replaced by digital cameras and systems can self adjust so less chance of operators missing something or such.

Its more likely that the glass has simply aged over time and just isnt as clear as it once was than the new glass being significantly better than the originals were when they were brand new

Modern glass has a number of coating to reduce heat losses. Some of these coatings can give an apparent improvement in transparency.
Found my new windows to be much clearer than the old ones, but that might be down to the fact that the old windows never got cleaned.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

there was 1 sticker on the glass in Low E Glass, thats the only sticker i could see before the rest got installed
i do notice there is very slight shade on the glass and i mean a VERY slight shade on the glass compairing it to the window open at the same time to a brick wall facing to my house so say half the window looking at brick wall to other half looking out clear view  when window is open if you get my drift, i take it thats the protection coating which i can live with
