Valentines Day hotel in London

I'm looking for a hotel in central London, ideally as close to Waterloo as possible for the 14th Feb 2008.
Anyone know if the prices will drop closer to the date. At the moment, even a travelodge is £99 for the night! All other decent hotels are £150+.
Any help much appreciated.
