The countdown is officially on until the exhilarating 100-ball cricket competition – The Hundred – returns to the world-renowned Edgbaston Stadium this summer. Kick-starting the tournament, Birmingham Phoenix’s 2025 campaign gets underway with one of the biggest games in The Hundred fixture schedule – a fiercely fought derby against local rivals Trent Rockets at Edgbaston on Friday 8th August.

With just a month to go until the tournament gets underway, the opening fixture is set to be a jam-packed day of cricket and world-class entertainment, with the double-header match day starting at 3pm with the Birmingham Phoenix Women’s team, followed by the Men’s team taking to the pitch from 6.30pm.

Following the first game, Edgbaston Stadium will play host to all Birmingham Phoenix home matches including, Oval Invincibles (12th August), London Spirit (17th August), and finally Welsh Fire (22nd August), in what is set to be an unmissable and action-packed tournament. 

Spectators are guaranteed an incredible family-fun day out, with every match day featuring two matches of world-class cricket alongside fantastic entertainment. As part of a collaboration with BBC Introducing, rising stars KANDA, The White Lakes, Josh Latunji and Eloise Fabbri are set to perform across the four home fixtures, and Birmingham Phoenix’s resident DJ will be offering non-stop entertainment at every home game.

2. The prize includes entry to both Birmingham Phoenix’s women’s game at 3pm and the men’s team fixture at 6.30pm on Friday 8th August 2025 at Edgbaston Stadium.
3. The prize includes entry for two people.
4. Travel and accommodation expenses are not included, and the winners will be required to make their own travel arrangements to and from Edgbaston Stadium, Edgbaston Road, Birmingham, B5 7QU.
5. The winners will be picked at random and notified via email by 21st July.
