Saving for child with disability

Trusts can be complicated and expensive, and often bring little benefit.JuzaMum said:I would suggest looking at the Scope website as they are able to offer valuable help and advice. I would look into a trust for your child (something I need to do myself!).
An exception can be a Disabled Persons Trust, which is really for after parents/guardians have died. It can be set up in advance or as part of your will.
Before then it is perfectly possible to manage a persons finances for them if necessary, without complicating the situation with trusts.0
