The end game will be near the Hearing fee deadline date in  few months time,  sometime this year , when your case will be added to the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas

Update we have now been given a date for small claims and need to submit witness statements.

Is there guidance on this element or is it a case of regurgitating the statements made in the defence statement or is that already considered by the court a part of the defence submission. Just want to be sure we get it right.

What's the deadline for DCB Legal to pay the Hearing fee?

Hearing fee is due 23rd March.

Deadline date for evidence is 2nd March.

We also have an offer from them to pay £100 to avoid court so need to consider this against going to court and not a successful outcome/ loss of earnings (even if we win will probably still be out of pocket) to attend court etc. Then the stress of it all.

What is the likely outcome cost wise if the ruling goes against?

as predicted by @Coupon-mad and @Gr1pr the hearing fee was not paid and we have received an email from DCB legal confirming discontinuation.

Many thanks to you for the information on the site and the guidance not to give in.
