Manchester Airport APCOA parking charge - got in the wrong lane - Question on legal issue

Hi All
Got in the wrong lane at Manchester Airport - due to signage change ended up in the T2 upper drop off point. Re-set the sat nav and made our way to the exit we were there for 3 minutes. There was NO barrier at the exit. We continued to our official T2 pre-paid car park and went on holiday.
On return I have been sent a letter to the 'registered keeper' for a £100 parking charge - which is discounted, to £60 if we pay within 28 days. I wasnt driving
We have been advised if I declare 'there is no obligation to name the driver and quote Schedule 4 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 ("The Act") I am not obliged to inform the company of the driver - Is this informaiton correct?
If not how the devil can I get this cancelled
The reviews for APCOA are not good
Thank you all for your help

Use this text to get it cancelled
Dont add anything else or take anything out and appeal as the keeper
log it here https://payments.apcoa.co.uk/
takes a week or two for them to cancel these
This is an appeal by the registered keeper - No driver details will be given. Please do NOT try the usual Group Nexus Trick of asking for driver details in order to get around the fact your NTK does not comply with POFA. As there is no keeper liability then liability cannot flow from the driver to the keeper and thus is an auto win @ POPLA. Please therefore cancel the notice or issue a POPLA code where you will auto withdraw
**not relevant land for pofa**5 -
Thank you so much - I have a supplementary question - which is the best way to communicate with them? should I send my reply by post to their registered office? I dont want to give them my email address0

Online, create a free email address for anything you don't want going to your personal email address, so one official and one for everything else, don't create obstacles, solve them instead
I would not give them my main personal email address either !3 -
dont bother creating another email address, completely un needed dont understand the issue here, , why are you asking about how to communicate when i have given you the web portal to use to log it....
Giving a parking firm your email address is completely harmless, why go down a rabbit hole you dont need to go down1 -
The PCN itself tells you how to appeal.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
