Mobile Deals UK on Ebay - warranty claim

I'd be grateful for a steer on next steps and rights please.
I bought my daughter an iPhone 13 from Mobile Deals UK on Ebay, one of the recommended refurbished mobile phone sellers on MSE. This was December 2024. Six months on and the phone has been glitch for a few weeks, microphone not working, then randomly restarting, now over heating instantly its switched on, so unusable. 
There was an advertised 12 months warranty from the seller but they're not responding to emails and the phone number doesn't work. Ebay have said it's outside their return period so they won't help, apart from nudging the seller to reply to me.

Where do I go from here? Unfortunately I used PayPal to buy it, so no section 75 cover 😕

Have you checked if they're still trading on Companies House, and do they have any active eBay listings? 
Ultimately if they're out of business, you're out of luck - your rights are against the retailer, rather than eBay etc.
