DCBL letter of claim

Hi, I have just recieved a DCBL letter of claim for 3 parking fines dating back to 2021 for a company called Smart parking limited. A total of £510. I've seen some similar cases on here but seem to be old ones.  What's my next course of action.  Thanks for any help.

1. Read the newbies thread.
2. Have you complained to the land owner / car park owner?
3. Respond using the template as per newbies therad.

do you know the car park etc?

Sorry no i haven't read the newbie thread.  I haven't complained to anyone.  2 of the charges are a block of flats carpark where my son used to live.  I was prob helping him move in.  The other is next door to that,  but I don't recall going in... except maybe to turn around. I'll have a look at the thread and template. Thanks for the help

If you were helping him to move in, maybethe vehicle was not parked but loading/unloading.  See Jopson v. Homeguard where the judge said loading is not parking.

I bet that it wasnt from DCBL, ( debt collectors   ) but more likely to have come from DCB LEGAL,  a legal firm
