This is an ideal opportunity to visit Benji and Balu at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary situated adjacent to Yaverland Beach in Sandown on the Isle of Wight.

Benji and Balu, two European Brown Bears, were rescued from Azerbaijan and arrived at the Sanctuary in June this year, where they have quickly captured the hearts of many. Come and enjoy their playful antics as they frolic in their bear ponds, as you watch them from the new Lookout Centre.

There is also so much more to enjoy - a visit to the Sanctuary provides an ideal family day out for the whole family. You'll have an unforgettable and immersive experience with a wide variety of rescued exotic animals. From bears, tigers and lions to monkeys, lemurs and cockatoos, all of their animals have an amazing story to tell, and play a part in helping to raise awareness of animal exploitation.

Visitors get the opportunity to find out all about their animal stories in the daily animal talks and encounters, whilst wandering our amazing site, set in the backdrop of an historic Palmerston fort. The sanctuary is also home to the Islands largest primate domes, where you can immerse yourself as you meander through the habitat of the lemurs!

And when the excitement of your visit is over why not enjoy a coffee or a meal in the Wildheart Café, relaxing in the knowledge that all the money you spend directly supports their efforts to end animal cruelty once and for all.
