first Parking charge notice in my life - need help

Hi all
I am complete newbie in the subject as never been involved in similar situation.
Yesterday we have received a parking charge notice on our windscreen for not displaying permit on private land. Car was parked there for less than 5 minutes.
There is few signs around that small plot of land but my line of defence would be that ticket issued is for different postcode to where car was parked.
Another issue is when logging on their website it showing that they have taken 6 pictures but they never displayed all together - sometimes none, sometimes one but max was 4 pictures displayed.
Do I have any chance to fight this?
PPC is ParkPay Services Ltd which according to ticket and website they are IPC member.
Another issue is that I am going away in two weeks for 4 weeks and worried that I might miss some letters which i should respond to so just thinking should I just cough up 60quid ( or 100 if not paid within 2 weeks) and forget about the case.
Please treat me gently - I have read through newbie thread but I never found name of that company so dont know how badly they are going to pursue this.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Kind regards

No matter how (or on what grounds) you appeal the PCN, you won't win this with either the PPC or IAS. It just doesn't happen. So it's at any court stage where an impartial judge can then decide whether you owe the PPC any money. That's not going to happen for at least 18 months (and can be up to 6 years). If you don't respond at all to the PPC, they will access your data from the DVLA after 28 days (and up to 56 days). They will then issue a Notice to Keeper within 14 days of receipt of your data, giving you 28 days to respond. That timescale should give you the flexibility to take your holiday and deal with things when you get back.We recommend ignoring everything (including any silly debt collector letters) unless and until you receive a Letter Of/Before Claim from the PPC's solicitors, or a County Court Claim via the Northampton CNBC, come back to this thread for further advice. A long way off at this point. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thank you Umkomass for your time to reply.
So lets say mentioned PPC ParkPay services ltd are very eager to get their money and will take it all the way through likely how much it will be in court? I assume it will be 100 plus their 'escalation fees' and court fees so probably we will be looking at around 300-400 quid.
Does anyone have experience or heard about this PPC? just wondering how litigious they are?0 -
max would be £240 ish or even £03

Now a photo displayed on their website showing name of the car park as Dallam Lane medical Center (WA2 7NG) but ticket provided and website showing as Winwick Street Carpark, Winwick St, Warrington WA2 7TU. Those two locations are two different postcodes. Can my line of defence for this be that I was thinking its a scam. However those two locations are managed/supervised by the same company. Just trying to find a leg to stand on...0

Wait until you get the NTK, because it must repeat the information stated on the windscreen ticket.
(And download copies of the website photos in case they disappear!!).2 -
Thank you all who participated. Probably we are going to pay it as risking going to court and paid quadruple its not what we want. Probably win for those scammers but getting worried for 60 quid is no worth it.0

Hi there
Another question. Lets say I ignore it for now and wait for the letter through the post and will provide them with serviceable address in EU as most likely it was my cousin who visited us was the driver on that day.
Will he also get discountable rate for the first 14 days to pay?0 -
if you provide them with an EU address they can never touch him .
that really would be game over4 -
