Getting a mortgage with a spouse in an iva

Is it possible for a person not in an IVA to apply for a mortgage with a spouse that is in an IVA? I understand that the bank obviously wouldn't use the spouse on a joint application but would they consider their income on the application?

No. 
Well anything can be possible with a large enough deposit and a good income, but it would still be a high rate of interest. Also the person in the IVA is acquiring an asset, they would need advice on the terms of their IVA as to the imlications of this.

the person with the IVA wouldn't be part of the application anyway so they certainly wouldn't be acquiring an assessment. I was more asking if the bank would consider their income as part of a single application however they wouldn't

Most lenders wont incude the income of someone who is not on the mortgage, but you can ask a mortgage broker.
