I have Office 2019 on my PC - Yet every time that I update it - it adds Office 365 to my installation
I don't want or need 365 - How do I prevent it from installing on my PC ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

Think it is embedded and is not just a simple uninstall. I had that years ago and it was a pain.Have a look here

But 365 is NOT free - so how does that work ?

I think it is like all the bloatware we used to get.
I know it came on my current laptop and during the setting up I loaded Office Professional together with the other programmes I use when setting up it up. I did not realise that it had downloaded 365 in the initial set-up and it clashed. (I wrongly had assumed it needed to be downloaded - it didn’t it automatically.) I ignore the stuff or delete anything I do not want including McAfee and Skype. I am currently spending time getting rid of files as we no longer deal with 5 clients plus a lot of personal stuff I am moving elsewhere.

I didn't but for some reason when I pasted across with font set a Arial 11 that is how it came out and no matter what I did could not change it - Most posts I make are done in word first - I hate spelling mistakes0
