Hi,
looking to replace our old outdoor lighting with something more modern. I’ve purchased 4 up and down lights made from plastic. However these are designed for the wiring to enter the fixture from the back/straight behind it in the wall.

This isn’t the case for our setup, our wiring is externally mounted and as such needs to enter from the side.
What’s the easiest solution, drilling out a hole in the side of the plastic? And if so, what do I use to keep this waterproof?
if you could link any relevant products from Screwfix etc. that would be great.
