Inconsistent name format across credit report

Options
I'm currently preparing to apply for a mortgage, and my credit reports are each formatting my name differently as I have two middle names - sometimes these don't exactly match the account.

eg:
The name on my savings account is Firstname A B Lastname
But Equifax shows Firstname A Lastname
and Transunion shows Firstname B Lastname
etc...

Is this likely to be a problem, and how am I best off resolving it if so? There's quite a few different accounts where this is the case.

Credit reference agencies use fuzzy logic to try and determine if two records relate to the same person or seperate people. Having used Experience's solution for a slightly different purpose than lending they effectively gave a confidence factor on each part on if it's the same person or potentially a different person. When we got data we only received data where the confidence factor was above a certain level.

They tend to be perfectly fine at dealing with diminutive versions of names (Stu -v- Stuart) and alternative spellings (Mayer -v- Meyer) and other things which can occur through informality, agents mishearing or more nefarious reasons.

Whilst I haven't seen a CRA file from a banks perspective I would be surprised if it was vastly different.

Generally you will be asked to detail your all the accounts you owe money on, they will cross reference what you say to what the CRAs are telling them and may raise questions if they see other accounts on the CRA that you haven't declared. The fact some have middle names and some dont may have a tiny impact on the confidence score but nothing that will impact your credit worthiness.

The chances of having 2 people with the same first and last name but a different middle name both of whom have the same date of birth living in the same area is really rather small.  I can't imagine that it will be a problem with a bank looking at credit records.  After all credit records will nicely link up an individual who has changed their name a couple of times and moved around so your situation is quite easy in comparison.  I've also seen reports that mention a father and son with the same names but obviously the DoB was different so there was no real confusion.

In fact the only time I've heard of someone who ran into a real problem shared the same DoB, first and last names and both middle names with someone who had been jailed for 20 years for some serious crimes.  Fortunately they lived at the other end of the country.
