Anyone know how I can find out a companies bank details ? I have recently won a tribunal case against ex employers and they have not replied to any correspondence I have sent in order to make payment of the monies the court ordered them to pay. I have now no option other to make a bank arrest, but dont know how to find out the companies bank.

This information won’t be public record. Unless someone has posted it online I don’t think you’ll be able to find it, if you can’t get them direct.1

Even if you do find the bank details there is nothing you can do to freeze their account , only a court or tribunal can do this. Have a look at the advice on the ACAS website on what to do if an employer fails to pay.1

Generally the same way you would find out your neighbour's bank account details or anyone else. You either search paperwork to see if you already have them or ask them for them.Mirrensdad said:Anyone know how I can find out a companies bank details ? You could ask your bank to check the source of any payments they made into your account but that may well be an external payroll company's account.2 -
Never heard of a "bank arrest".There would be no need to personally know account details if you are looking to apply for a enforcement order and instruct bailiffs. However, you could go down this route https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/apply-for-a-court-order-when-someone-owes-you-money-ex3241

Think they mean a Third Party Debt Order in which the court orders a bank or similar to freeze an account and pay money they owe/hold for the defendant to the claimant.masonic said:Never heard of a "bank arrest".There would be no need to personally know account details if you are looking to apply for a enforcement order and instruct bailiffs. How recently? Depending upon the nature of the payment it may well have to processed through the payroll system. If the company operates a monthly payroll this might not be made until later this month.Mirrensdad said:I have recently won a tribunal case against ex employers and they have not replied to any correspondence I have sent in order to make payment of the monies the court ordered them to pay.0 -
Sometimes the threat of a winding up order can get them into action

Phone their accounts department and ask for the details to be confirmed so you can pay an invoice due?Mirrensdad said:Anyone know how I can find out a companies bank details ?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.1
