DRO and Court Claims
Options
I've got a question to ask about DRO's and Court Claims if someone could help me understand this please.
My DRO went live on 13/2/2025, my set aside application was granted on 27/2/2025 and now the case has been stayed on 1/7/2025
Am I correct in thinking that the case is stayed until the DRO's Moratorium period expires?
The CCJ was completely removed from my credit file already and OVO has already processed the write off.
I also have it in writing from OVO that the "DRO write off has been processed and my account has been closed with a balance of zero"
Will the court case just remain dormant until my DRO completes and be closed after 13/2/2026?
Thanks!

I believe you are correct in thinking that the CCJ case will be withdrawn/closed when the DRO has run its year. It would be done this way (as opposed to closing it at the DRO start date) on the off chance that the DRO fails. This might happen if you suddenly inherited a lot of money or won the lottery or suddenly some how had a significantly larger income. All of these events would mean you had more than £75 surplus a month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Could have saved yourself the set aside fee as the DRO renders the CCJ null and void anyway.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
