Getting my money back from a Greek hotel

Ok so that rules out any chargeback or S75 claim. I guess all you can do at this stage is go back to the hotel and keep the pressure up, insist on a proof of transfer as someone stated above? Tell them you've reported to your bank and they are investigating and require the transfer proof - may just persuade them that it's not worth fobbing you off.jimjiber said:
It was a bank transfer. That was the only option I was given as I contacted the hotel directly.bagand96 said:How was the initial deposit payment made?
You should also raise it with the bank. I suspect there's little they can or will do here but it's worth chatting to them anyway.
Starting legal proceedings against them in Greece is probably a non-starter so maybe TripAdvisor/Google reviews in the hope it generates a response.1
