Parking eye claim form

I got a Claim Form in the post from DCB legal for almost £1000 for 4 parking tickets which happened in early 2021.

I am following the instructions to apeal via the governemnt gateway website and send a defence etc.

I have also written a complaint to PALS and the car park team at the hospital.

Is there anything else I should be doing?

Post the issue date from the top right of the claim form below 

Post the date that you completed the AOS online below too

Post a redacted picture of the bottom half of the claim form below,  after hiding your VRM details on the left and also hide the password on the right

You will be defending,  not appealing

The state of the POC (sparse) means that you can use Chan & Akande in your defence, shown in the new template.

Yes - and as there are 4 PCN dates, the Defence should point out that these could be for 4 completely different matters but nothing has been specified. Could be one alleged for parking out of a bay, one alleged overstay, one could be an allegation of failure to pay & display and one could be not being permitted. The Defendant and court should not have to guess. This POC clearly fails to meet the requirements of Part 16 and the claim should be struck out.

Hi everyone 

The hospital I work at spoke with them and they reduced the claim to £160 without prejudice as to save for costs.

I was on holiday and they gave me only 7 days to pay. This deadline has expired now.

I was wondering what to do next? Should I pay and take it up with the hospital or just defend it?
Reducing the fine this much seems like an unusual move and perhaps they feel they don't actually have a case?

Carry on with defending because the defence deadline is looming 

If you want to negotiate a settlement figure,  do so at the compulsory mediation stage in a couple of months time,  meanwhile,  get on with drafting your defence based on the new defence template thread in announcements at the top of the forum

Did you mean "without prejudice save as to costs?"
